Yes, and we recommend it. A prototype or MDF tool produces samples for fit, stacking and line trials before you invest in production tooling.

Yes. Tooling is cut for your part alone and is quoted separately as a one-time cost. We store and maintain it for repeat orders.

The tool you have paid for is yours. It stays at our plant so repeat orders can run immediately; confirm ownership terms in writing on the quotation.

MDF is cheaper and suits prototypes, seasonal packs and short runs. Aluminium costs more, forms more consistently and lasts for volume production. We recommend based on your annual quantity.

Yes, deeper pockets, revised ribs, extra cavities and trim changes are handled in our own tool room, usually in days.

Often, yes, if it fits our machines and is in usable condition. Send photographs and dimensions and we will confirm before you ship it.

It depends on load, clarity, temperature, chemical exposure and food contact. Our materials guide sets out all seven polymers we run, and we will recommend one for your part on request.

Yes. Send the pack; we identify the polymer and gauge and quote a matching tool, and will point out where the current design is over-specified.

Yes, food-contact grade APET, PP and HDPE are available. Confirm the requirement at enquiry stage so the correct grade is purchased and documentation can be passed on.

Yes, in anti-static HIPS, carbon-loaded conductive grades and anti-static PVC. Tell us the surface-resistivity range your process requires.

Up to approximately 1000 × 1200 mm forming area, with sheet from 0.15 mm to 6.0 mm depending on the machine and depth of draw.

An approved first article becomes the reference for the tool, and in-process checks are made against it at set intervals and at every shift or material change.

First-article reference, dimensional check record, material details for the grade supplied and a packing list. Ask at enquiry stage for anything specific your audit requires.

Confirmed on each quotation. Tooling is normally invoiced separately from production. New accounts and repeat customers may be treated differently, and we will state the terms clearly before you order.
